Privacy at DividendSteps

Last updated: September 9, 2026

This notice describes the current data practices for dividendsteps.com. The site has no user accounts, comments, newsletter, purchases, or contact forms.

Information you send us

If you email hello@dividendsteps.com, DividendSteps receives the email address, message, and any files or details you choose to include. We use that information to read and answer the request, investigate corrections, and maintain the site. Do not send brokerage login details, account numbers, or other information that the site does not need.

Cloudflare hosting and Web Analytics

Cloudflare Pages hosts the site, and Cloudflare currently adds its Web Analytics beacon. The beacon is used for site performance and traffic measurement. Cloudflare says Web Analytics collects timing metrics through the browser Performance API and does not collect or use visitors’ personal data. See Cloudflare’s Web Analytics overview and its data collection documentation. Cloudflare may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site; its Privacy Policy explains Cloudflare’s own processing.

Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics 4 is configured as basic opt-in analytics. The GA4 script loads only after you select Accept analytics; Reject is equally available and prevents the GA4 script from loading. When enabled, GA4 may measure page visits and receive information such as device and browser details, the referring page, and general or approximate geography. We do not enable Google Signals or ads personalization. Google describes its default data collection in its Analytics documentation and its general practices in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Consent and analytics cookies

Your analytics choice is stored in this browser’s localStorage for 180 days. The Cookie settings button in the footer lets you change the choice. If you withdraw analytics permission, future GA4 measurement stops for that browser and the site removes first-party _ga cookies set by GA4. Withdrawal cannot recall data that GA4 already received. Google describes the _ga and related cookie behavior in its GA4 cookie documentation. A choice stored in localStorage applies only to that browser and device.

Advertising plans

There is no advertising network or advertising script installed on the site today. DividendSteps plans to consider third-party advertising in the future. An ad partner may use third-party cookies or similar technologies. We will update this notice with the actual partner and its relevant policy before installing an ad network.
